The Welcome Tent is an ex-army catering tent repurposed for PEACE.

Given as a gift to a group of us from the UK, Sudan, Kurdistan and Afghanistan who met volunteering in the Calais 'jungle' in 2015, it is a space to learn from and about each other through food.

Now, we - Sparky, Emma, 6 year old Felix & Bo the Border Collie - are on a journey around Europe with The Welcome Tent to create a cookbook. Living and working from our van since July 2017, we are collaborating with people and projects that Welcome.

Denmark. The Netherlands. Switzerland. France. Germany. Italy. Slovenia. Serbia. Macedonia. Greece. We are gathering #recipesofHOPE that celebrate our shared humanity.

✌🏽 ❤️ ✊🏽
